Aspects of Colour

Colour and Tone illusion
This is an amazing illusion using colour and tone to deceive the eye.
The middle sqaures of colour on each face of the cube are the same colour. Drag the sqaures to each of the middle colours and see for yourself!
Straight Lines?
This image is made up straight lines, but are they?.
This illusion shows straight lines super imposed on the black and white background.
Remove the blocks to see if they really are sraight.
Brighter Colours?
When a colour is surrounded by a darker colour does it appear brighter? try it and see.
Drag each of the coloured squares in and out of the black background and see if you think they appear brighter.
Stoop Effect
This is called the 'Stroop' effect named after J. Ridley Stroop in the 1930's.
The idea for this is to try and say the word that appears as listed. Give it a try but we are sure you WILL soon slow down.
