When a colour is surrounded by a darker colour does it appear brighter? try it and see.

This is called the 'Stroop' effect named after J. Ridley Stroop in the 1930's.
The idea for this is to try and say the word that appears as listed. Give it a try but we are sure you WILL soon slow down.
