colour in my livingroom

Hello i,am new here. i need some help in using colour in my livingroom. i have aavocado green loungsuit.leather. we are changing the carpet to a very light colourlike grey or beige. i have rose violett lavender and grey in the curtains. please help!:confused:

I supoose it depends on what sort of mood you want to create in the room. If you want it light and airy, you would obviously need a neutral light colour, maybe like a light buff or the old magnolia (sometimes the old ones are always the best) other wise if you want to create a warm and cosy feel, then you would need maybe a reddish hue (complimentary of green) or something similar to what you have in the curtains. Im no designer, but hope its help a bit.

How do you feel NOW when you're in your living room? Specifically how does your sofa make you feel? Are you wanting to decorate around that?
