Hello
We are running a strict no-kill animal rescue organization, therefore all the animals that cannot be adopted out for reason of age, health or behavioural problems remain with us until the end of their natural life. We would like to know which colour is the best to paint the rooms where the permanent cat residents live? What is the best colour for older quiet cats ( to stimulate them to activity ) and what is the best colour for very active , alpha cats. What would you suggest for avoiding aggression in a multiple cats situation and more importantly to avoid or contain improper urination. I should add that the cats do not live in cages and they have toys and cat trees to keep them occupied and that we are in Toronto ( Canada ) where we suffer long dark winters ( approx. 6 months a year).
One more question, have colour preferences anything to do with age? When I was young I liked dark colours ( dark blue, black) and now in my fifties I like bright colours, my favorites being yellow and orange. Is that a common age related issue?
Thank you for your attention,
Claudia
