When starting a new business what would be the best background colour to use on Flyers and advertisements :?:
Blue is a good colour to use as it is a goddess colour. Blue is used for dealing with such matter as: Wealth, Joy, Opportunity, Abundance, Elevation, Tranquillising, Aligning, Business, Logic ect. And many more but i'm sure it will do just the job. :)

You left out an important piece of information that would be helpful for color recommendations -- what kind of business is it? This could play a big role in helping to decide what colors you may want to use...
Yes but blue is good for business in genreral.
I have always felt that blue is a colour of trust somehow, and perhaps... this maybe something to do with the fact that what we see all day (if you are lucky and the sun is out...is the sky above us)
Blue is the colour of the sky which we all... as in everyone (think about it) know to believe will never change... we can trust it in that we know it will always be that colour every day despite clouds and rain. When we wake up in the morning, its 'nice' to see the blue sky because maybe we have a built in instinct that we feel that the day will be good.
When it comes down to it though, there are different hues, shades etc. of the colour blue.
The sky we see above us everyday maybe a different blue depending upon where you live. The Mediterranean as an example for artists has a certain brightness and clarity that makes the surrounding areas and views different to say the sky above the UK, which... lets face it doesn’t.
But overall Blue is and I believe will always be the colour of trust, maybe it’s because of the sky, maybe its something else.

can anyone just start up a business? Do you have to get qualifications first or is their some sort of colour therapy guru?

If you want to start up a business as a therapist - in colour therapy or any other therapy - you should have obtained a qualification to practitioner level and during your course you should have been given plenty of guidance on professional practice.

Hi
I am new to the site and currently live in Perth, Australia. My late Grandfather was a wonderful colour therapist and I would also like to train in this area. Does anyone know where I can train? I cant seem to find any Colour Therapists in Perth and not many training options in Australia... thanks

I'm studying Colour Therapy via distance education for a very reasonable price. I'd rather you contact me to find out the school in case mentioning it on the forum conflicts with any policies of this site. :-)
