I have been suffering from anxiety, depression, and horrible, obsessive existential questions about reality and my place in the Universe. I feel like my mind is being bombarded constantly by thoughts and questions about reality, thoughts like, "God doesn't exist and we're a cosmic accident" or "You don't really love anyone, love and joy are only chemical reactions in your brain." I think these thoughts constantly and have developed problems with anxiety and depression as a result.

I have seriously considered starting to take medication, but was willing to give color therapy a try first. What should I do? I use solarized water in an indigo bottle but it doesn't seem to do anything. Should I use a violet bottle? EXACTLY what color is violet, is it like a deep purple? Could I have a problem with my crown chakra?

It is hard for me to believe that something as simple as color therapy can help me...is this real, or is the healing all in a person's head? Someone please give me some advice, I don't know what to do anymore.

hello,

Indigo is good and is used to stop situations. I feel that this is the right colour for you to use. All you need to do is meditate and visualize this colour going into you crown chakra. This is the affected area. You can also use crystal healing; Lodestone is good for healing depression. Just keep the stone with you and also meditate with it. just through all this self healing you will feel a lot better.

Hi, Dreadnought. Try not to get too technical about it. Orange is the colour for depression. Just look at it, wear it to absorb its rays / vibrations, touch and feel it when you eat oranges and mandarins and pumpkin. Focusing on orange worked for me and helped lift chronic lowgrade depression I'd had for years. Hope it works for you.

Orange is the "text book colour" for depression. It is actually very good for lifting one's spirits and motivating, encouraging joy. Energised water, food, clothing, visualising.... all fo these can help. Colour therapy is a real and valuable therapy and does not need one to believe in it - it works whether one is consciously aware of it or not.

The best way to get over stress and depression is to take a break from your regular schedule, go out, and take good sleep. This helps in clearing the mind and try consulting a specialist who can suggest you as how you can get over your problem. There are various prescription drugs to get over anxiety and depression, but these should only be used in accordance with the instruction of a physician. There is a lot of fake selling of such medicines on internet, so before you can order it online just make sure it is a real pharmacy.
