I work at the front desk of a 24-hr pet emergency hospital. We are very dedicated to making our lobby a peaceful environment for pets and the owners.

We are about to change the color of our uniforms up front, and since we are the 1st people to be seen when someone enters, it's a very important part of the healing process for all involved. Sometimes we have to carry a sick or injured pet to the treatment area in critical cases, so we are also sometimes the 1st physical contact with the pet.

And as you can imagine, the energies floating around the hospital are very high and intense at times. (I frequently go out into the lobby during quiet times and clear or bless the areas!)

We would like to know what everyone thinks as to a color for our new uniforms. (Most likely our pants are going to remain black).

Thanks,
Karen

Hi Karen,

It's great that you are taking the colours for your uniforms seriously. As you know, animals are so aware of energies and veterinary hospitals are places that can frighten animals so much, even if the are not sick when they arrive.

I would suggest either green and/or blue. Green is a wonderful "first aid" colour ideal for trauma. It balances the body's processes, including respiration and blood flow, and blue is such a calming colour, helping to relieve stress.

I would love to know how you get on. If you would like to discuss this any further do please make contact.
