light in the classroom
Hi! I am a teacher in a special ed. school in the US (Massachusetts). My school currently employs a developmental optometrist (once a week) who does syntonics with the students. However, he reports that syntonics is highly specialized and requires a Dr. to be present when using. Since none of us (among the staff) is an OD we cannot even learn how to do syntonics. So, we are very interested in supplementing the syntonics with some form of light/color work that does not require an OD. Does anyone have any thoughts about this? Any idea where to start? Thanks so much.
