You don't need to use a complimentry colour if you are just absorbing colour using Coloured Natural Silks do you???

Thanks for your time.

Default silks therapy

Hi there Rainbow Warrior,
You have been such a regular visitor and valuable contributor to the forum - thank you.

When using silks as a therapy "tool" it is helpful to use complementary colour also to give balance to the treatment. I tend to use the complementary colour for a shorter time than the main treatment colour but it does help to balance out the energies especially when some colours increase body temperature and others decrease - you want an overall balance.

I've experienced it myself when giving myself a treatment with indigo - I ran out of time as I had an appointment to keep and failed to use a little orange before finishing my treatment. For the rest of the day I really felt cold - although thankfully, my head pain had decreased substantially!

It is important, as a therapist, to try to make sure that the person is grounded and balanced before letting them go back out into the world!

You can also use a little green at the end of a treatment to give balance - since this is the colour for balance and harmony and stabilises all the body's processes.

I hope that helps to answer your question.
Best wishes,
Valerie.
